"Wherever you live, participating in arts and culture is good for your wellbeing "

Early evidence has consistently shown that engaging in visual arts, music, physical activities and volunteering, among others, can benefit our personal wellbeing. A team from UCL, funded and commissioned by the What Works Centre for Wellbeing and the Economic and Social Research Council, has now found that community and cultural engagement is good for our wellbeing, regardless of where we live.
